Adequate quality protein intake is essential for your baby’s growth, your blood volume expansion, and your overall health. The Brewer Diet requires a minimum of 80-100 grams of protein per day.

Calories

Pregnancy is not the time to cut calories—your body needs sufficient and nutritious calories that provides necessary macro AND micronutrients. Dr. Brewer’s diet requires a minimum of 2600 calories to sustain energy, grow blood volume, and support fetal development. I will help ensure you are eating enough nutrient-dense foods to feel strong and nourished throughout your pregnancy according to The Brewer Diet. 

Salt to Taste

Salt is crucial for maintaining proper blood volume, maintaining hydration, and preventing swellling, headaches, and dizziness. I will help you embrace salt without fear, ensuring you stay hydrated and energized.
